For the past few years Bridge Multimedia has been developing AI-based technologies that provide personalization for blind, deaf, neurodivergent, cognitively disabled, and multi-lingual digital accessibility users. Bridge President Matt Kaplowitz’s patented Infinite Access Experience Engine leverages artificial intelligence and Universal Design technologies to provide highly tailored accessible emergency communications across broadcast networks, streaming and media, mobile devices, and more.
Last month Jonathan Thurston, CEO of Bridge’s sister company IA, announced that Infinite Access was presented at the UNDRR’s (UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction’s) Global Platform in Geneva. Marcie Roth, Co-founder of IA, and Executive Director of the World Institute on Disability, spoke about Infinite Access at the global forum. According to Ms. Roth,
“I was delighted to show how the Infinite Access engine can help people with disabilities access life-saving information in practical, accessible, and personalized ways.”
Mr. Thurston said,
“It’s tremendously significant because Infinite Access completely aligns with the goals of UNDRR.”
UNDRR was created in 1999 to ensure the implementation of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction, an initiative to increase public awareness about disaster reduction by working through a network of government officials; the private sector; international organizations; and scientific institutions. Matt Kaplowitz added, “We were honored to showcase, in Geneva, how the Infinite Access Experience Engine effectively delivers hyper-personalized emergency alerts and warnings.”
AI-driven accessible technology is developing at an incredible pace.
