Honorees Krissy Moore, VP of Community Relations, Wells Fargo and Matthew Kaplowitz, CEO, Bridge Multimedia at the 2023 Nonprofit Trailblazers Awards ceremony.
Since its founding, in 2002, Bridge Multimedia has donated a portion of its time and resources to organizations and projects that service the disability community. Its first social undertaking was to create a free digital resource for individuals with disabilities called Emergency Info Online, a directory pertaining to disaster readiness. Since then, Bridge has been proud to provide pro bono services for The American Council of the Blind, The American Foundation for the Blind, CHIMES International, The Federal Communications Commission, NY Women in Film, ReelAbilities, New York Institute for Special Education, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and VISIONS.
Kaplowitz said, “Bridge thanks NYN Media for both the award and for promoting the importance of social entrepreneurship. One of Bridge’s current initiatives is to provide training in Inclusive Philanthropy, which encourages philanthropic organizations to extend their funding to important programs and facilities that benefit the disability community.”
