Bridge Celebrates the Completion of Disability Film Festival, ReelAbilities 2021

Bridge Multimedia: Empowering Accessibility and ReelAbilities

Bridge Multimedia celebrates the 2021 completion of ReelAbilities, the largest annual film festival dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. They are currently accepting submissions for 2022.  ReelAbilities was founded in 2007 by the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan and is now an international event with screenings throughout communities, schools, and organizations across the globe. Founding partner, Bridge Multimedia, couldn’t be prouder of the festival’s remarkable growth over the years.

According to Matt Kaplowitz, Bridge CEO and member of the ReelAbilities Advisory Committee,

“Every year we provide audio description and captioning for them. Working personally with the filmmakers and fulfilling deadlines for a festival this size always necessitates keeping a lot of plates spinning. Fortunately, Bridge has got the experience, technology, and high-capacity workflow required. We wouldn’t miss being part of this festival for the world. ReelAbilities is one of the most exciting, high-energy events in the disability community!”
