Advancing Racial Equity in the Deaf STEM Community
A 5-Part Accessible Video Podcast Series
Advancing Racial Equity in the Deaf STEM Community is a 5-part accessible video podcast series which brings together BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) science professionals with sensory impairments to discuss racial and disability equity and inclusion among people who are deaf, deafblind, and BIPOC. This first-of-its-kind series was conceived, planned, and co-funded in conjunction with Bridge Multimedia’s long-time partner TERC, and the National Science Foundation. Advancing Racial Equity in the Deaf STEM Community highlights the crucial role that traditionally underrepresented populations play in a diverse and inclusive workforce.
